Sola Arbor
Sola Arbor translates from Latin as "Lonely Tree".
This beautiful tree sits alone on the top of a gentle hill, making it really stand out as the landscape falls away behind it.
The tree was lit using two flashguns off to the right of the tree just over the brow of the hill to hide them from the camera. One was set to a tight beam with a yellow filter and aimed towards the top of the tree. The other was set to a wide spread with an orange filter and aimed towards the base/middle of the tree.
A flashlight was used off to the right of the frame to paint in the foreground.
