Purple Stone
I spent a lot of my childhood and adolescence at The Fabric, otherwise known as Ashover Rock. It is somewhere that is very special to me, which might explain why I love to light paint it. At 229 meters above sea level, the Fabrick sits high above the village of Ashover and provides views as far as Lincoln Cathedral, over 40 miles away, when conditions are good. Taken towards the end of the blue hour the rock is simply lit with a flashlight from a single angle.
